Today I woke up early, and felt amazingly refreshed after the night in the inn. I packed my stuff and took a tour in the city. There were a lot of small shops everywhere, and I wanted to buy like, everything, but I know I'm on a strict budget. I went into this clothing shop though and got myself a new shirt! It was not expensive, sadly they seemed to have only a few colors to choose from. I took a blue one of course, that's one of my favorite colors.
Next I went to have a look at the royal palace, Sunfury Spire. There was a huge fountain out front, and everything looked so expensive. I would really have wanted to get a pic of Lor'themar Theron, but it was forbidden to take photographs inside the building. So, instead I took a picture of myself!
After some more wandering around I got a bit tired and sat down on a bench in this cute little area with plants and rabbits. I also had a little snack, because there was still a lot more to explore in the afternoon. I thought I had seen most of the city, so after my little break I decided to head for the main gates.
The first thing you might notice when you get outside the gates is of course the Dead Scar, that stretches trough all of Quel'Thalas. I have heard about this before; Arthas and the Scourge marched through here, killing everyone in sight and leaving the ground all dead like this... They wanted to reach the Sunwell, which is located on the Isle of Quel'Danas, where I was yesterday. It's pretty sad that it still remains here, and ruins such a beautiful landscape.
Anyway, after this I went into the other half of Silvermoon, which is located on the other side of this massive scar. Most of this part is inhabited by vile creatures, but there is a small area, Falconwing Square, that is safe to visit.
It was starting to get pretty late in the afternoon, so I headed into the forest. I had heard about a place called Fairbreeze Village, where I thought I'd spend the night. I wandered around and snapped some beautiful pictures..!
It was getting a bit late when I arrived in Fairbreeze Village, and I headed straight for the inn. The innkeeper seemed like a very nice woman, and I was very surprised at how little she charged for one night, considering how nice and neat everything looks here. I can really recommend this place.
For dinner I had some wild hog shank and moist cornbread. Now I'll probably go right to sleep, it has been such a long day, I'm exhausted! Tomorrow I'll start making my way to the Ghostlands. I'll enjoy this last night in a comfy bed, I suspect next night won't be as luxurious... Well, here is a picture of my room, and I'll see you tomorrow..!
